The two of them are used for corrective purposes. Going back to the birth of the two objects, glasses are viewed to have been utilised since 5th century BC and the spread of usage officially accounted in 1452. On one hand, contact lenses are originally suggested in 1508 and became ready for mass usage in 1887.

Contact lenses stay stable as attached in the eye's cornea. Contact lenses have advantage over glasses in when it comes to peripheral vision. Wearers of spectacles encounter restricted and altered vision if one happens to glare within the sides dissimilar to contact lenses that give clearer view in sides direction. In terms of weather conditions including fogs and rains, contact lenses would be more suitable. In frosty areas, eyeglass users may encounter displeasure due to the fog that covers up glasses, therefore contact lenses are more more effective since it won’t fog up. If it rains,, eyeglass users would find it difficult battling against the blurry vision caused by rain water.

Wearing glasses could be related with unattractiveness. Students using eye glasses may be labeled as nerd-commonly viewed as foolish and socially distant person who are truelly unappealing. In using contact lenses, there would no problem matchingdresses during special occasions unlike eyeglasses that may create a big impact if frame shades and form are not blend with the attire. Definitely, luxurious outfit would be deformed if spectacles wouldn't go flawlessly with the outfit. The only intent behind wearing eyeglasses is to correct vision issue. However, contact lenses, could function in two functions; it could be worn either for remedial or cosmetic purposes. In fact, there could be a pair of contact lens that is medicative at the same time cosmetic as well.

Though most of the people are wearing contact lenses, still there are a few who are still adhering with their spectacles. Nevertheless, it's very apparent that using contacts has a lot to offer as compared to wearing spectacles. Furthermore, improvements in contact lenses are more progressive compared to eye glasses.
